Donna Kay Johnson, 79, of Duluth, MN, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at September House 24 hour Customized Living in Duluth.
Donna was born July 10, 1938 to Clarence G. and Evelyn (Carlson) Johnson in Cloquet, MN. She was raised in Cloquet, and graduated from Cloquet High School in 1956. She attended Dunphy Associate School, in Duluth and studied key punching, then worked at the Carlton County Courthouse for 10 years before moving to Minneapolis in 1966. Donna later moved back to the Duluth area where she met and enjoyed life experiences with many dear friends while she continued frequent visits with her mother Evelyn in Carlton whenever she was able.
Donna enjoyed being the life of a home wherever she lived by using humor, showing interest in others and genuinely caring for others. She was known as a loveable and caring person with an exceptional ability to make others laugh. She loved singing and telling stories and insisted on having as much attention from others as she could so she could talk with them. Donna had a strong faith in God throughout her life and was a good example of treating people with respect. She will be missed greatly by her friends and family. She will be remembered with love and a smile for her wonderful personality and spark of life!
Donna was preceded in death by her parents Clarence G. and Evelyn Johnson; and brother, Clarence Johnson.
